Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in research, reporting, stakeholder communication, and requirement gathering. Experience with business intelligence tools and a background in business or IT is preferred.

Qualifications required

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MIT) is an added advantage

• Industry-recognised certifications such as:

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

  • PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)

  • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or Agile BA certification (optional, but beneficial)

Work Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or project coordination

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and handling requirements gathering, process mapping, or data analysis

• Background in IT, Finance, Healthcare, or other business domains, depending on industry context

• Experience in agile, scrum, or waterfall project environments is desirable

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Proficiency in business process modelling and requirements documentation

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)

• Proficient in using project management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Visio)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, developers, and business users

• Ability to prepare business cases, gap analyses, and impact assessments

• Understanding of KPIs, ROI, and business performance metrics
