Manager Tours & Travels

We are seeking a passionate and organized Tours and Travels Manager to oversee our travel operations and develop engaging travel packages. The ideal candidate should have experience in the tourism industry, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to create memorable travel experiences. Excellent leadership, customer service, and itinerary planning skills are essential.

Qualifications required

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum requirement)

  • A Master’s Degree or professional diploma in Travel and Tourism Management is preferred

Professional Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Proven experience in managing travel operations, tour planning, and vendor relationships

  • Familiarity with travel booking systems (GDS like Amadeus, Sabre) and online travel platforms

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of tour packages, travel regulations, visa processes, and destination management

  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills

  • Ability to negotiate contracts with hotels, airlines, and other service providers

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Proficiency in travel management software and CRM tools

Additional Qualifications (Valued)

  • Certifications such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), or IATA certification

  • Knowledge of international travel regulations and safety protocols

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus for international tour management
