NGO Centre Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Manager to lead and oversee daily operations at our NGO centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, program management, and team leadership. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential to drive impact and ensure smooth functioning of the centre’s services and initiatives.
Qualifications required
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field (minimum requirement)
A Master’s Degree in NGO Management, Social Development, Public Policy, or related disciplines is preferred
Professional Experience
5+ years of experience working in NGOs or community development projects, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Proven experience managing program operations, stakeholder relations, and community engagement
Familiarity with donor requirements, grant management, and reporting
Key Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage budgets, monitor projects, and ensure compliance with policies
Skilled in partnership building with government agencies, donors, and local communities
Experience with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks
Additional Qualifications (Valued)
Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Monitoring & Evaluation, or Fundraising
Knowledge of international development standards and frameworks
Multilingual skills and cross-cultural competency
